A long weekend of hard work extracting, bottling and labeling honey at my small apiary. This has got to be the earliest I’ve ever processed honey before, but if the hives get any taller, I’ll have to use a ladder. I’m delighted at the health and vigor of my colonies this year, but not sure what to attribute it to… weather, luck, no-spray campaign, or just the extra time I have to devote to them during the lock down. In any case, as I’m wrapping up the process, I thought I’d share my “highlight reel” of photos.
