Description

Our original honey that we’ve been selling to friends and neighbors in the Ormewood Park neighborhood of Atlanta, GA for several years now.

Ormewood Reserve is a wildflower or “polyfloral”, and tends to be a dark and complex honey with a flavor that varies slightly from year to year to reflect the local influences of gardens and planting of the area.

I find that Ormewood Reserve is delicious on its own or in applications where you want to introduce complex flavors.  It can be fun to try to decipher what herbs, flowers, fruits and vegetables the bees blended each year.

Ormewood Reserve is raw and organic.  It is never pasteurized or heat treated (raw).  Nothing is added and it is not diluted in any way.  It is cold filtered to remove impurities found in the natural hive setting, but retains all its pollen and micro-nutrient content.

Ormewood Reserve is bottled on-site in recyclable 1 pound or 16oz glass bottles. Honey is a natural product, so it can vary in density slightly.

At this time, we can only offer local pick-up. We hope to be able to begin/resume shipping soon!

Dear Community

It is with deep regrets and sadness that I must announce there will be no honey harvest this year. The usual challenges of beekeeping, coupled with the increasingly erratic climate since Winter have been really hard on the hives this year and there will not be a harvest-able surplus. Thank you for all your support in the past, we hope to be able to bounce back next season.
